Last week had the pleasure of delivering rescue reassessments at Go Apes Moors Valley. The team did an awesome job and passed with flying colours before the start of their Easter holidays.

Have a good start to the season and see you in a couple of months for your summer reassessments.

Looking forward to getting down to Cornwall again and supporting the team at BF Adventures and VF Cornwall.

They are one of the teams that have got a strong training culture and put hard work and time into developing their new apprentices and new instructors.

This can only come ...from hard work from the new instructors but also a really supportive team environment with strong leadership role models. This centre is a great centre to develop the instructors hard skills but also the interpersonal skills with the individuals that they support as a charity.💪🧗

Keep up the good work team.

It was lovely to work with Jurassic Water Sports on their annual Technical Advisers update training this week.

It's a pleasure to work with Jordan and his team, with some critical components covered from emergency procedures to thorough checking processes.

    Well done to ...everybody involved.

Finishing off a long stretch with @vertexinstructortraining at primrose valley haven in sunny Yorkshire! We've covered staff refreshers and new training on climbing wall, rescues, and rope skills.

Massive props to our new instructors for their dedication and perseverance. You've ...earned it, team!

One of the benefits of using myself as your technical advisor is the sharing of knowledge.

We're now entering a fourth year of running my annual networking morning in the South.

The goal is to bring local climbing and off-ground activity businesses together to share and ...network business ideas, but also the management of health and safety within the company to improve safety across the south.

This is also an opportunity for the centre to open its doors and increase business potential from other local company's

The first year I ran this was at Go Ape Moors Valley. The team at Go Ape Moors Valley were open about their health and safety policy, the way they manage their customer experience, their staff training, in addition to their rescue procedures and processes. This was a very good starting point for other providers to follow suit.

And was greatly appreciated. Thanks, team Moors Valley. 🧗💪🥳

This is one of the best books I've read that's applicable to the outdoor adventuring and business world.

I've taken a lot from developing my own business that I've borrowed from this book and the principles, values, and ethics that it discusses. Fabulous and inspiring ...book to read. 🤓

Boom, it's the weekend. Who's dropping into the local wine store?

Enjoy your weekends and hopefully get out climbing.

    Safety first!
