First time outdoor climbing?
Want to take the first steps to becoming an independent climber? You will be in safe hands. Eddy has been a qualified training instructor for over 2 decades, and has been running Dorset climbing courses since 2006. By the end of this course, you will have learnt enough climbing techniques to be comfortable on some more challenging routes. You will learn about the different equipment required for climbing, how to tie climbing knots, belaying, and some of the climbing lingo & communication skills required when climbing.

Highly recommended. Eddy took a group of 3 of us rock climbing for our first time in Dorset. Clearly he is a very experienced and high level instructor capable of teaching light years ahead or our abilities. We all felt like Eddy was a great instructor, very genuine with his support and encouragement without being too pushy. He picked some routes which were challenging for us but achievable. He encouraged us to take responsibility for our safety but was always attentive and quick to spot and correct us if we missed something. We all had an amazing and fun day.
